Dr. Mahaveer Prasad

I am Dr. Mahaveer Prasad, a dedicated academician with a B.Sc., LL.B., M.A. in Sociology, MBA, and a Ph.D. (2022) on “Deprived Class and Women Leadership in Rural Self-Government”. My research focuses on marginalized communities, women’s leadership in Panchayati Raj institutions, and the impact of reservation policies on rural governance — offering practical and scholarly insights into empowerment and equity.

I have cleared the SET in Sociology (2009, 2012) and UGC NET in Sociology (2011), and have been selected for interviews in the Rajasthan Administrative Service (2010, 2012, 2013, 2018), Assistant Professor (Sociology) recruitment exams (2012, 2014, 2020, 2023), and roles such as District Probation cum Social Welfare Officer and District Prison Welfare Officer.

My published works include Adhurikhawahishen (a poetry collection) and Deprived Class and Panchayats: Experience and Perspective, along with numerous research papers in reputed journals.
